This out-of-body experience occured on 2008-10-26, at a time when I intensely exercised several techniques to induce lucid dreams. The resulting dreams were often converted into OBEs, usually introduced by a false awakening or awakening into a state of paralysis. |
»I wake up and perform a reality check showing - as I already expect - that I am not in waking reality. The experience bears the traits of an OBE. Levitating in a non-physical body, I decide to let myself drift to see where I am taken. I start to fly out of the room, right through the wall, aloft, above the rooftops, diving from house to house, observing the scenes that take place behing the walls.
I enter a relatively empty attic, an old and dusty room with a wooden floor. In the center, there is an asian couple, both completely naked. The woman lies on her back on a crate, the man standing beside her. She is altogether unattractive, her chest is flat, her skin spotty and her body worn and meagre. The man grips her nipples and twists them in a painful manner. She screams loudly. For a while I invisibly observe the play, irresolute about her consensus on the situation, though I can see no bonds or the like. After a few minutes I float away feeling a bit disgusted, into other houses, until I finally arrive at a bridge.
Now seems like a good time to pursue an item of my agenda, so I demand to be taken to a higher plane. Something happens, there is a total whiteness and the "I" - the intellectual centre - completely dissolves, reminding me of the ego-deaths I experienced before. That is all I am able to recall on my return.«
